We are able to create systems for the specific needs of all types of business within the hospitality industry. Below is just one example of how a system can be configured.
Till Networks
Where more than one till point is required within a business, the tills
are usually networked. Till point 1 is normally designated as the "master"
till. The master till holds the data which is central to a system such as
table balances, and other tills on the network (usually called "satellites")
are able to access them. Networking the tills also allows for reports to
be run from one location for the whole business, and for programming to
be done centrally.
Back Office Software
With back office software connected to your tills, it is possible to collect
sales data every day and store it to allow historical sales reports. Software
usually provides tools for programming the tills and also for maintaining
stock levels within the business by entering deliveries which are matched
against sales. In most cases the back office software can be installed at
a remote location and connect to the tills using a modem or broadband connection.
Kitchen Printers
Kitchen or Order Printers are widely used in any situation
where food is cooked or prepared to order. Till systems can be programmed
to send certain products to one or more order printers when the cashier
sells them or adds them to a table. As well as being used in a kitchen,
receipt printers can also be used as order printers to order drinks from
a bar for example. The kitchen printer usually connects to one till but
is shared by all tills on the network.
